🌿 Caring for Your New Plant: A Quick, Friendly Guide
Bringing home and caring for your New plant from Three Little Biggs is exciting, and keeping it happy is easier than you think. Here are the basics every plant parent should know:
Light
Most houseplants love bright, indirect light. Near a window with filtered sun is perfect. If the leaves start stretching or fading, they may want a little more brightness.
Water
Let the top inch of soil dry before watering. Give a slow, even drink until water drains out the bottom. Overwatering is the most common mistake, so when in doubt, wait a day.
Humidity
Florida plants appreciate a bit of moisture in the air. A small humidifier, pebble tray, or grouping plants together helps keep them comfortable.
Temperature
Keep your plant in a cozy spot away from cold drafts or direct AC. Most thrive between 65–80°F.
A Little Love
Wipe leaves occasionally, check for pests, and rotate your plant weekly so it grows evenly.
With just these simple steps, your new plant will settle in beautifully. And if you ever have questions, we’re always here to help at Three Little Biggs Nursery
